Named after the fictional island in "Peter Pan," Neverland was Jackson's retreat and sanctuary. It featured a zoo, amusement rides, a movie theater, and lush gardens. However, the property became associated with controversy, including allegations of child sexual abuse, which led to a decline in Jackson's public image. Following Jackson's death in 2009, the property faced financial difficulties and underwent various ownership changes. As of my last update in January 2022, the property was listed for sale several times, but its future remained uncertain.
