How to field strip a Glock

How to field strip a glock:
WARNING!
ALWAYS VERIFY THE WEAPON IS UNLOADED BEFORE ANY MAINTENANCE IS PERFORMED!

Step 1: With the slide forward pull the trigger.

WARNING!
Always do this step with the weapon pointed in a safe direction! DO NOT BE A DUMBASS and have your hand in front of the muzzle, lots of dumb people have done this and it ends badly. Your hand does not make a good bullet stop.

Step 2: Pull back on the slide slightly.

Step 3: Pull down on both take down levers on the left and right.

Step 4: Let the slide go forward and remove it from the gun.

Step 5: Remove the recoil spring assembly.

Step 6: Remove the barrel.

CONGRATULATIONS! You have now successfully field stripped a glock pistol. If you were not a dumbass you accomplished this feat with all your fingers intact and zero extra holes in your body. You may now preform any weapon related maintenance and clearing that requires field stripping. Assemble weapon in reverse order.
