mid week ramblings about little things I bought. #rambling #toolhaul
Just a flash in the pan chat about few things I got while in town. So, we were in town the other day, hitting up Princess Auto and Canadian Tire, just browsing around, you know how it is. But man, I gotta tell you, it was disappointing. There's just nothing exciting anymore, you know? It's like, are they even making anything new?
Anyway, despite the lackluster trip, I did manage to pick up a few things. Let me tell you about it.
First off, I grabbed some enamel paint. You know how it goes when you get a new vehicle, right? It's like everyone's in a competition to see who can mess up your car first. Well, after dealing with a few dings and scratches, I decided to touch up the paint. Got it matched perfectly at the auto store, and despite being a bit pricey, it did the job surprisingly well.
But let me tell you, that factory paint job wasn't holding up so great. Turns out there were impurities in the metal, causing rust to creep up along the windshield. So, I slapped on that enamel paint, and it held up like a champ. No more worrying about chips and rust.
Then, I grabbed some Mike Holmes work gloves. Not that I'm doing heavy-duty work, but they're handy for minor jobs around the house. And hey, if you're doing your own brakes, you gotta invest in some good brake lubricant. None of that cheap stuff—I learned my lesson there.
Now, onto the little essentials. I stocked up on syringes for mixing two-stroke, and some E-clip external pliers. These babies are a lifesaver for my arthritis, especially when I'm tinkering with small parts in tight spaces.
Oh, and don't even get me started on baggies. I know it sounds weird, but when you've got a garage full of nuts and bolts, organization is key. Trust me, it saves so much time and headache.
Lastly, I splurged on a Tacklife tool. Yeah, I know, it's a budget brand, but honestly, they're pretty solid for the price. I got this versatile little grinder/polisher, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer for some of my projects.
So yeah, that's my little tool haul. Not the most exciting stuff, but hey, it's the little things that keep things running smoothly, right? #canada #usa #vlog #tools
