Arrested in ERROR

On March 24, 2024 Brandy Ferrell was "arrested in error" by the Overton County Sheriff's Department. The Deputy failed to bring the warrant with him, and it turns out, the warrant was actually for someone else.
How would you have handled being arrested for a crime you didn't commit?

Statement from Overton County Chief Deputy Tim Poore

"I hate that it happened, but our officer done his due diligence, he had an active warrant and the identifiers were those of Mrs. Ferrell, now where that information was put on the warrant wrong or what I can not speak to that. We always try to insure that who is arrested is the person on the warrant. Our officers always check to make sure that the identifiers are on the warrant, and that they match the person being arrested, so that incidents like this does not occur."
