Aung San Suu Kyi being used as 'human shield' says son

Kim Aris said on Thursday (April 18) in an interview with Reuters that his mother was being used as a "human shield", after a Myanmar government spokesperson said that she had been moved from prison to house arrest. It was not immediately clear where Suu Kyi had been moved to. Junta spokesperson Zaw Min Tun did not respond to Reuters' requests for comment.
