Present With the Lord | The Word of Truth Conference 2022 Session 2

Most in the Christian world believe that, immediately upon death, a believer is ushered into the presence of the Lord in heaven. Passages that teach this are found to be in rather short supply. II Corinthians 5:8, which is made to say “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord,” is a passage used to prove that man’s “immortal soul” goes to heaven immediately upon death. In Session 2 of The Word of Truth Ministry 2022 Bible Conference, Nathan Johnson considers II Corinthians 5:1-10, and the subject and meaning of what Paul was writing about in this difficult passage concerning "Present With the Lord."
