Vance Dykes: The Phoenix Lights, The Hale-Bopp Comet, & Heaven's Gate

One thing that I have noticed when I study UFO History is that the Phoenix Lights and the coming of the Hale Bopp Comet occurred at around the same time that the UFO cult Heaven's Gate preached that a spaceship was suppose to follow the tail of the Hale Bopp Comet and that it was time for them to leave this world to board that ship. I can't help but wonder if there was somehow a connection between the Phoenix Lights, the Hale Bopp Comet, and the Heaven's Gate cult.
