William Luther: Large federal deficits contribute to high inflation rates

Florida Atlantic University Associate Professor of Economics William Luther reports on the latest inflation rate data. “If you go back to the second half of last year, we see that inflation had come down to around two percent. And in the first three months of this year, we’re averaging around four and a half percent. So very far off of the Fed’s target,” says Luther.
