On January 11, 1966, residents of a Passaic County borough witnessed an extraordinary event. As night fell, a glowing light, initially mistaken for a fire, was reported to the local police. Patrolman Joseph Cisco received a dispatcher’s call about a “flying saucer over the Wanaque.” The incident caused a frenzy, with police radios jammed by calls from witnesses over a 20-mile radius. There were dozens of witnesses who went on record to talk about their experience and what they saw! The 1966 Wanaque Reservoir UFO incident remains a mystery, sparking curiosity and debate among UFO enthusiasts and skeptics alike.
