A former Boeing engineer-turned-whistleblower maintains that the assembly flaws in the company’s 787 Dreamliner render it unsafe to fly.

Sam Salehpour, the whistleblower, raised concerns about nonconforming gaps in fuselage sections, warning of potential catastrophic consequences mid-flight.

Boeing refuted these claims, asserting the plane’s safety and undergoing rigorous FAA scrutiny.

Salehpour, despite assurances from Boeing and experts, stands by his allegations, advocating for a halt in production until issues are resolved, NBC News reported.
