The brunette Polyakova at the new video was inspired by Freddie Mercure's performances.

The singer presented a new video for the song “Don’t cry - I’m laughing!” The author of the video is Sonya Plakidyuk. With her new job, the artist not only tried on a new hair color, but also adopted the look of rock legend Freddie Mercure.
In the frame, Polyakova appeared in six unrestrained images: from the rise of a dry-hearted artist to a champion in the ring, who daily trains to fight for herself.
The director of the video, Sonya Plakidyuk, admits that she wanted to tell the story of a woman in the artistic profession, because at the moment it becomes obvious that the true principle is “show must go on”. The video shows a sneak peek of a significant process: the paparazzi, the merciless shooting of cameras at the press conference, and the tendentious song that evokes tears under the mask of a human windbreaker.
“As a person who works in show business, I know very well that no one cares how bad you are in your soul - you can give joy, peace, beauty and a warm mood, because this is your work and your call. The skin image has its unique function in this species. So, for example, she was abandoned and named in tears - like a young figurine from a happy cake that never became so. A bubbly biker who wants to separate happiness and drive from life and not accept constant guilt for anything but a grotesque masculine image of an artist at a press conference who is not afraid to demonstrate his hatred emotions,” said Sonya Plakidyuk.
The main part of the story is the transformation of the singer into the image of Freddie Mercure from the clips on the legendary songs “I want to break free” and “Show must go on”. This transformation became a clear illustration of the lines from Polyakova’s song: “Don’t cry, I laugh” and “I hurt my soul with laughter.”
