I am spending money at alarming rates
Which is problematic because it doesn’t belong to me
I would gladly take the food from rich peoples plates
And give it out to everybody else for free

If I could spend a little more I might solve all the problems
Things you would agree to fix if you only saw them
So even though I’m smiling no one else thinks it’s funny
Cuz I want to save the world
With everybody else’s money

I am funding programs that not everyone believes in
Pushing my agendas as inflation soars
Aiding wars and letting dreamers, workers, kids and thieves in
And if we run out of money, I will just print more

I have a vision, can’t you see it too?
And if you can’t see it, I’ll just force it on you

I just keep on spending with no intention of stopping
Taking all your taxes for my governmental shopping
So even though I’m smiling no one else thinks it’s funny
Cuz I want to save the world
With everybody else’s money
