French President Emmanuel Macron has raised concerns over the security of the Olympics opening ceremony amid fears of a potential ISIS attack.

Macron suggested that the ceremony, initially planned along the River Seine, could be scaled back or relocated to the national stadium as a precautionary measure.

The move follows recent threats made by ISIS against sporting events in London, Madrid, and Paris. France has heightened its security threat level after a terror attack in Moscow claimed by ISIS-K.

Despite initial plans for a grandiose ceremony, Macron acknowledged the possibility of implementing contingency plans, including a potential move to the Stade de France.

He also expressed determination to maintain an Olympic truce during the Games, despite security concerns, the U.S. Sun has reported.
