On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, Paul Demeda presented on HOW foods and nutrients support or compromise how your brain works, and how you feel. The idea that what you eat affects how you feel, is generally accepted by many people, and also well supported with research. However, food and nutrients are rarely considered as a key strategy for supporting mental health.

Paul is dedicated to investigating, clarifying, and explaining important nutrition issues and concepts, and is a proponent of critical thinking in the context of health and published research.

He taught in the core curriculum program at The Institute of Holistic Nutrition at IHN for 17 years, and currently teaches the Nutrition and Mental Health and Clinical Detoxification continuing education courses. As Program Facilitator at the International Society for Orthomolecular Medicine (ISOM), Paul implements projects to increase awareness of nutrients and Orthomolecular Medicine for medical professionals and the general public.
