Pastor Odle (Flat Earth) and Pastor Locke (Round Earth) gave their arguments for Cosmology based on what is said in the Bible about it.

Whether you firmly believe one way or the other or are on the fence about it, this entire debate, while long, will be worth every minute of your time, in my opinion. Even if you don't have the time to watch it all in one sitting, I highly recommend you watch it as you can to completion.

My thoughts are below regarding this debate, for those who are interested.

It appears to me that Pastor Locke suffered a massive attack of cognitive dissonance. When faced with a total barrage of facts that he couldn't refute, he had a choice.... to either accept them as the truth and completely concede, or totally ignore the logic and reason that he had been presented with from Pastor Odle. To concede would likely destroy his ego, hurt his credibility, and most importantly, totally turn his world and his concept of it upside down. In light of this choice, my observation is that he became irrational and defensive, as well as aggressive. Following the debate, Pastor Locke/GBVC removed this video from their website and social media platforms.

To me, this debate was undeniably and completely won by Pastor Odle. The evidence in the Word of God trumps any document, test, experiment, or organization. The Word of God regarding Flat Earth was quoted over and over by Pastor Odle in this debate. Then, Pastor Locke, who claims to teach the Bible "line for line, verse by verse, and word by word" literally dismissed it all and went on to say, "I will never believe anything that's said about a flat earth'. That was shocking to me. And, in regard to that, Pastor Dean didn't 'say it'....it was 'God that said it' in the Bible. Pastor Odle simply repeated what was once told to the men who penned the Word of God. Pastor Greg refused to believe any of what was said by God. To me, that revealed much about the 'fruit' of Pastor Locke (We shall be KNOWN by our fruit).

To Pastor Odle, I say, thank you for the in-depth biblical research and preparation you shared, as well as staying, trying, and being willing to present all that you did to Pastor Locke, who obviously came to argue and prove why He was 'right' without the Word of God to back him up. As I see it, he wasn't there to learn or listen - he was in this debate hoping to humiliate Pastor Odle. He seemingly wanted to prove himself without even studying what the Bible says about Flat Earth, which backfired tremendously.
