Iran and Israel Face Off at UNSC as Tensions Escalate | Vantage with Palki Sharma

Iran and Israel faced off at the United Nations Security Council, hours after Tehran launched an unprecedented attack on Israeli territory. While the US has asked Israel to de-escalate, prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's war cabinet appears set on a counter-strike. Israel's ambassador to the UN said that Iran had crossed a red line which gave it a right to retaliate at a time of its choosing. Iran, on its part, says the attack was designed to limit civilian casualties and escalation. Can Israel launch an attack without Western help?
