Kash Patel: The Justice Department’s unlawful conduct is the sole basis for FISA reform

Former Federal Prosecutor Kash Patel says the FBI and DOJ's warrantless surveillance of Americans is the sole reason the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act needs to be reformed. “It’s not Donald Trump. It’s not the media. It’s the fact that the FBI and DOJ broke the law themselves and broke the American trust in the FISA process that it’s even on the cutting table to begin with,” says Patel. “I think we need to focus on that and make sure we assist Congress in instituting reforms that actually matter and not just political victories in the headlines.”
