Until recently, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, were always taught to be self reliant and to never depend on the dangerous handouts our governments give out. Our leaders for years understood the dangers of relying on government's, the loss of freedoms that come with this reliance and the fact that caring for ourselves is a Celestial Law. Now, like with many other good doctrinal principles, it appears that our current leaders have forgotten the actual reasons the doctrine of self reliance and the church welfare program was established in the first place. This is only causing members of the Lord's church to be set up to fall victim to tyranny. It's already happening!
