Robert Greenway: Iran’s economic growth has skyrocketed since sanctions were relaxed

Robert Greenway, Director of the Center for National Defense at the Heritage Foundation, says Iran is making an “enormous windfall” from its booming oil exports. “To put it in perspective, one year of the Iranian Defense Budget at its apogee is about $50 billion. So if you made $100 billion off additional resources under the Biden administration, that’s two entire years' worth of a Defense budget. That’s, that’s [an] absolutely staggering amount and all of that goes to support terrorist and surrogate proxies around the region,” says Greenway.
