I had a plan to repot my Coelogyne Lyme Bay in such a way that I could get the new roots into the pot so that they would reach the substrate. Well, during the course of this video, I had to rethink the best course of action because repotting this orchid at an angle would expose too many roots that are already established in the pot. Instead, I chose to divide the orchid but now we have a 3 bulb orchid division that is totally dependant on the new roots that are growing from the new growth. The procedure was pretty straight forward, the dividing went without any issues, but how do you repot an orchid that is a division with new roots only, and keep it secure in the pot?
