How Laelia lundii is doing after Fall Repot into Semi Hydroponics with Leca UPDATE #ninjaorchids

In November 2023 I embarked on a repot for Laelia lundii. Laelia lundii was doing great in leca and self watering for a good part of 3 years. The creeping rhizome of laelia lundii makes her the perfect candidate to be grown mounted. However, in my climate, the mount would now have to be enormous because laelia lundii has done really well in leca and self watering. The repot was filled with apprehension, it was late in the season and laelia lundii starts her new growths in the fall, with new growths new roots are on the way in the winter. All very dicey when the conditions are not controlled as per the orchid's preferences.
