Plantas ‘gritan’ en situaciones de estrés como los seres humanos

Al igual que los hombres o los animales, las plantas pueden expresar sus emociones negativas acumuladas ‘gritando’. Este hecho fue revelado por investigadores israelíes de la Universidad de Tel Aviv. Durante unos días dejaron plantas de tomate y tabaco casi sin agua y les cortaron los tallos. Así, las sometieron a un estrés grave y, con ayuda de un aparato especial, pudieron grabar sus ‘gritos’. Según los resultados, una planta estresada es capaz de ‘gritar’ de 30 a 50 veces por hora.
