Weddings are magical places. They are a celebration of what’s to come, of possibilities and of love. This beautiful gathering unites both groom and bride into an everlasting union of support and caring, but it also serves as a place where both families can get to know each other and celebrate their kin’s happiness.

Although weddings may vary from one to the next, they still center around the key component of joy. It involves a lot of dancing, singing and retelling stories about the newlyweds along with happy tears and laughter. Everyone is expected to have a good time and make this day worth remembering to the newlyweds.

There is something so special about having the parent-child dance at the beginning of the ceremony. It almost feels like the parent is officially admitting that their child is no longer a child and it’s time to let them go and unfurl their wings. It must be difficult for the parents, but they bear it like champs. The children are yet to understand what it all means, but for the time being they are thrilled beyond belief to be able to start their lives with their loved ones forever.

Check out this adorable mom and son duo taking the stage. Jeff Ozer and his mom Debbie Martindance at Alyssa & Jeff's wedding on February 15, 2014. They decided to dance to the song ‘My Wish’ by Rascal Flatts. You can just see the emotional connection these two are having. So precious!
