Woman Trapped after Crash

On 4/14/24 at approximately 1:45 AM, San Diego Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a crash in Spring Valley at Cardiff & Jamacha Rd. Upon their arrival, they found a two-car collision with one vehicle on its side. The driver was trapped inside the car and was rescued by the combined efforts of San Miguel and Heartland Fire Rescue agencies. She was taken to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries. The other driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Unknown if DUI was a factor in this incident. SDSO Investigating.
