Shehnaz Soni's story begins in Karachi, Pakistan, within a society that traditionally sees women's roles as confined to the home, often sidelining their educational and professional aspirations. Despite these cultural norms, Shehnaz was determined to chart her own course. From an early age, she was aware of the metaphorical box society wanted her to fit into, yet she chose to break free, guided by her inner conviction. She excelled academically, finishing high school as valedictorian before pursuing engineering at the University of Karachi.

Her journey took a significant turn at the age of 21 when she moved to Los Angeles through an arranged marriage. This transition marked the beginning of a series of challenges, including adapting to a new culture and overcoming language barriers. However, these obstacles only served to reignite Shehnaz's pioneering spirit, setting her on a path of personal transformation.

Today, Shehnaz likens her life to that of a Star Trek Captain, navigating the intersection of science fiction and reality. As an Aerospace Engineer at NASA, she merges her passion for science with her deep-rooted wisdom to innovate in the field of aerospace technology. Her work has included significant contributions to both Boeing and NASA, and she is currently a Senior System Engineer for the Artemis Project. This initiative aims to establish a sustainable human presence on the Moon and, eventually, Mars, with Shehnaz and her team at the forefront of developing the Human Landing System.

In addition to her engineering feats, Shehnaz is the author of "The Quantum Being: A Self-Sustaining and Magnificent Human Craft." In this work, she demystifies quantum mechanics, making it accessible and engaging for a broad audience. She uses humor and relatable analogies to invite readers into the quantum world, showcasing her ability to bridge complex scientific concepts with spirituality and ancient wisdom.
