Police bodycam footage has been released of a scuffle which broke out between officers and migrants at a shelter in Yonkers, New York. Police had shown up to the local Ramada Inn on Tuesday after receiving a call that an ‘unruly’ guest was ‘being violent’ and ‘throwing stuff at everybody.’ They arrested 35-year-old Arnal Kent, but were soon surrounded by a group of people yelling at them in Spanish. The altercation eventually spilled outside, and became physical when a woman tried to wrestle Kent from them. Onlookers can be heard screaming as officers wrestle her to the ground and handcuff her.

The hotel houses around 250 asylum seekers, sent by New York officials following an unmanageable influx of migrants to the city.
