Pro-Palestinian Protester Threatens City Council During ‘Ceasefire’ Rant: ‘We’ll Murder You!’

Riddhi Patel, who is the Economic Development Coordinator for the Center for Race, Poverty and the Environment in Delano, CA, began to address the council members cordially enough before her speech went rapidly downhill.

“I’m here to speak in support of the city council introducing a cease-fire resolution, specifically the one United Liberation Front has drafted,” Patel began. “I don’t have faith that you’ll do this. You guys are all horrible human beings and Jesus probably would have killed you himself. I hope one day somebody brings the guillotine and kills all you motherfuckers!”

Patel also complained about recently-installed metal detectors at city hall.

“So, regardless of whether you elect people into office, they’ll back stab you, they’ll let you die, and for that reason you guys want to criminalize us with metal detectors?” she said. “We’ll see you at your house. We’ll murder you.”

At that, the city council president declared, “Miss Patel. Miss Patel, that was a threat. What you said at the end. And so the officers are going to escort you out and take care of that.”

Patel was taken into custody and arraigned in court Friday on 18 felony counts, 10 for “threatening with intensive terrorizing,” and the other eight for “threatening a public official.” Bail was set at $1 million. Patel pleaded not guilty to all charges and is expected back in court on April 24.
