Man Drives A Stolen 18-Wheeler Into A DPS Building After Being Rejected A Driver's License…Killing 1
The driver who killed one person and injured 13 more by plowing a stolen truck into a Texas government building has been named and pictured by police. Clenard Parker, 42, used an 18-wheel vehicle to ram the Texas Department of Safety building in the rural town of Brenham, 75 miles west of Houston on Friday morning. The branch issues driving licenses, and Parker's application for a commercial license had been rejected by officials the day before. Sgt. Justin Ruiz said Parker, of Chappell Hill, was pulled out of the truck by several officers and did not resist arrest, while police confirmed the crash was deliberate. Three people were airlifted to hospital with critical injuries and three more were transported from the scene in a serious condition. One person has since died.
