Before & After hand crafted cushion Colombian emerald & round diamond with accent engagement ring

BEFORE & AFTER the main gemstone is set with Jewlers POV 🔬

In this bespoke creating, we are setting a magnificent and large, 11.65 carat natural, earth mined, Colombian emerald cushion cut. This emerald has a mesmerizing bluish green color with carbon specs, or what we like to call a minty chocolate chip effect 🍪 Cushion cut stones are incredibly resplendent and lustrous due to their high number of facets, looking quite dazzling.

Our client requested diamond accents for some additional sparkle along the finger.

Finally, we did a hand aplique of black rhodium to add additional contrast. Black rhodium is an incredible technique used on gold and enriches an overall setting. Not very common but for those that know about fine jewelry, it is an incredible and bold detail.
