Judge rejects Trump bid, rules hush money trial will begin on Monday

This decision marks the fourth time in the week that a judge has denied Trump’s attempts to postpone jury selection.

Trump’s legal team argued that media coverage had prejudiced potential jurors, making a fair trial impossible, and sought to delay the proceedings until after the upcoming election.

However, the judge rejected these arguments, stating that the extensive media coverage would not prevent the selection of an impartial jury, The Hill has reported.
