It’s about time I redo the “How I make my shakes” video.

I still do the whey + simple carb formula (pun intended) that I learned waaaay back in the 90s. It worked great then and there’s plenty of literature now to support almost 3 decades of anecdotes.

A caveat I do is to get a “tallboy” and stuff as much protein as I can fit in that sucker, at least 6-8 scoops depending on the brand.

Why so much protein? Well because regardless of what I want as a 2024 human, biology dictates that there’s a bunch of other physiological priorities in front of building muscle.

You have to satisfy the anti-catabolic lever, organ function and a host of other things running in the background even post-training when the muscles are primed to take in their share too.

In this short, I take you through all the steps using my brand of choice @1stPhorm Vanilla Phormula as my Whey Isolates and a @gatorade single-serving fruit punch packet for a bit of simple carb.
