Even though the US insists that Ukraine striking Russian oil refineries is out of bounds, there is not a peep about Russian strikes on energy infrastructure that provides heating to entire cities. The Trypilska Thermal Power Plant located in Kyiv Oblast of Ukraine was completely destroyed as a result of Russian missile strikes on April 11, Ukraine's "Centrenergo" company announced. https://twitter.com/Archer83Able/status/1778416049404203388 -- It is hard to tell what is at play here. Is this a tit-for-tat response to Ukrainian attacks on Russian refineries? Or is it a way to ratchet up public pressure on the Ukrainian government to redeploy air defense assets to protect power plants and leave critical defense infrastructure unguarded?
