Congressman Doesn’t Hold Back On FBI Director Christopher Wray

Rep. Mike Garcia, R-Calif., directly expressed his lack of trust in FBI Director Christopher Wray, accusing him of lacking transparency and remaining notably quiet on issues concerning the southern border, instead of actively shaping policies, especially regarding national security.
During Wray's testimony before the House Appropriations Subcommittee, where he advocated for the reauthorization of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) and discussed next year's budget, Rep. Garcia did not mince words. He asserted his distrust of Wray, stating, "I’ll be honest with you, and this pains me to say this, but I don’t trust you."
