The giant butterfly mural on the northeast facade of the 9 Fremont building is a display case come to life in supersize, painted by international mural artist 'Mantra'. In its shadow on Fremont Street is Atomic Liquor, the oldest bar in Las Vegas, founded in 1952. It was known at the time to be a prime roof spot from which to view nuclear test blasts in the Nevada desert, hosted by original, longtime owners Joe and Stella Sobchick.
