North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un watched the test launch of the country's latest hypersonic missile. The missile, called the Hwasongpho-16B, is a "newly-developed hypersonic gliding warhead" and uses solid fuel, according to North Korean state media. The test launch took place on the outskirts of the capital city of Pyongyang. The missile flew across the country to hit a target in the sea east of the Korean peninsula, according to the report. The North Korean leader called for the ongoing development of "ultra-modern weapons", the report further stated.
