US officials reportedly believe that Iran is preparing for an attack on Israel. They have said the attack could take the form of a missile strike or a drone attack. The US is trying to contain tensions by relaying messages to Tehran via foreign ministers of the Arab world. At the same time, a top USgeneral is visiting Israel to chalk out a military strategy.
