Chicken Feed Night Time

Chickens at night. We are slowly getting our younger chicks into our main coop with our older chickens. Our Rooster Melvin doesn't seem to mind. It takes time for the little chicks to understand to go in. Yesterday they went in on their own. But tonight I had to put them inside the coop. I'm unsure why the chicks will go in one day and not the next. I didn't see any other chicken picking on them.
