Major power plant hit in Russian strikes near Kyiv

Russian missiles and drones destroyed a large electricity plant near Kyiv on Thursday (April 11), ramping up pressure on the embattled energy system as Ukraine runs low on air defenses. Reuters was able to confirm the location as the Trypilska Power Station from the characteristics of the buildings and tree line which matched filed file and satellite imagery of the area.
