Sandra Sarala left Aotearoa New Zealand over 26 years ago for Seoul and, via Moscow, Poland, London, southern Germany and rural Bohemia ended up in Berlin in April 2002. A journalist, editor, actor, book maker, musician, singing performance poet and permaculturist with a sideline in archaic east European folk song, her writing and photography intermittently appear here: https://permaterrailean.blogspot.com/
As a co-founding member (2004-08) of Polynushka she won September 2008's Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik (German Record Critics Prize) for folklore with the ensemble's debut CD. In 2011-12 she curated the multi-disciplinary series Berlin COMPASS and has been running Berlin's chapter of the annual Phantom Billstickers National Poetry Day since 2016. Her poetry has won awards in Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia, Germany and online, and has been published in journals including The Wild Word, Side Stream, Poems4Peace, Percutio, Lyrik-Sammelband der Bibliothek deutschsprachiger Gedichte and The Ultimate Reader of Love for the Book. She makes frequent foraging and feeding forays to Italy and otherwise lives a luxurious yet primeval life on a small mountain in central Berlin nurturing performance food for the soul.

Seeded by an Instabili Vaganti workshop prompt in 2020, the Good Administrator entity was born in that Bologna company's online arts incubator during the Covid-19 pandemic, immediately/prodigiously taking stride and flowering in a central Berlin Hinterhof permaculture garden. As theatre-maker Nicola Pianzola says, "When the Good Administrator tells you what to do, you want to do it!"
