FACT: ZUCKERBUCKS BANNED IN ELECTIONS - NO MORE INFLUENCE
In the 2020 presidential election and 2022 local & state elections, Mark Zuckerberg donated over $450 million to a small organization called Center for Tech and Civil Life (CTCL) in order to distribute money directly to election offices and election officials in many counties accross the nation. These donations were stated to be presented and available in a bipartisan way, but it was later learned that it was used mainly in assisting the Democratic Party's election efforts. This Money was 100% tax deductible and was NOT considered to be a "campaign contribution" for either party, so it did not have to be reported - it was considered "soft money". In recent events, more and more states have banned the ability to donate to election officials and election offices. In total 28 states have now banned this type of donating and coined the phrase "ZuckerBucks" named after the person responsible for it's inception.
