So, are certificates from google worth it? - Well I did an entire video on this, and in short, yes they are a very good value overall.
What happened is google identified that there were certain positions that they were having a lot of trouble filling because there simply weren't enough candidates that had the necessary skills. Colleges were way too slow to adjust to the evolving job market (big surprise there lol). So google created their own certificate program in order to fill the gaps and create qualified candidates.
