Some users of the Apple Vision Pro virtual-reality headset, including Emily Olman and Ian Beacraft, have experienced physical discomfort such as black eyes, soreness, neck pain, and headaches after using the device for extended periods.

Apple’s high-tech wearable has received mixed reviews, with some users reporting issues like eye strain, back aches, and puffy or dry eyes.

Experts like Jeremy Bailenson have pointed out that prolonged use of such headsets can lead to general discomfort and simulator sickness, similar to motion sickness.

Apple has provided guidelines for using the Vision Pro, recommending breaks every 20 to 30 minutes.

Despite its positive features like spatial computing and real-world overlays, the Apple Vision Pro is facing criticisms regarding its physical effects, Market Watch reported.
