Harnwell: Zelensky's Attempt To Bully German Chancellor Just Blew Up Badly In His Face

President Zelensky took to German media to humiliate Chancellor Scholz for not giving him the Taurus missiles he wanted. Scholz had told the German public he didn’t want to escalate the war with Russia — but privately, he explained he didn’t want to leave Germany vulnerable.

Zelensky promptly revealed to the world Germany’s own national security concerns.

Scholz then countered with his own interview, ruling out German conscription, and ruling out cutting Germany’s social security provisions in order to meet the “NATO 2%”. Thus leaving Zelensky more without hope than ever.
