Man who Brought Grenade to Lansing State Police Post not a Threat

The sergeant on duty at the time called the bomb squad when he saw a man walk in with a grenade, but it turned out that the man was an Army veteran who found his misplaced grenade while cleaning out his house. Police are now urging citizens not to pick up explosive devices that they see, and to immediately call the police instead of trying to transport the devices to them.
