After the explosion of two dams in Russia's Orenburg region, another river, the Yelshanka River, burst its course. Vasiliy Kosupitsa, the mayor of Orsk, informed about this. As a result, several more districts of the city of Orsk were flooded. The mayor called on the population to evacuate to safe places.
According to the latest information, 11,000 houses and 18,400 living areas were flooded in the region. Rescuers have evacuated 6,100 people, more than a thousand of them are in temporary accommodation.
It should be noted that the Ural River overflowed due to the explosion of the dam in the city of Orsk. As a result, the city was flooded.
