Germany denies accusation of aiding a genocide in Gaza at World Court

Germany on Tuesday (April 9) called accusations by Nicaragua at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the Hague that Berlin had violated Genocide Convention "unfounded". The German Foreign Ministry's legal adviser Tania von Uslar-Gleichen told media that Germany was "fully aware" of its responsibilities under the Genocide Convention and was trying to find "the right balance" in its approach to the conflict.
