Mexico is breaking off diplomatic ties with Ecuador after Ecuadorian police stormed the Mexican embassy. They entered the compound to detain the former Ecuadorian vice president, Jorge Glas. He had been sheltering there, after being granted political asylum. Some staffers were injured during the incident. Mexico's foreign minister says diplomatic personnel will leave Ecuador immediately.
