Peyton is two weeks from her 30th birthday and has been on a downhill spiral for years. As she watches her best friend Olivia grow and progress into the beautiful young woman she is supposed to be, her resentment only builds.
The only task Peyton completes daily is her work at Regal Printing. That is until she meets the new guy, Reid. Reid is charming, funny, and immediately ignites a spark in Peyton that she forgot existed. She knows there can be no future with him, but something keeps drawing her back to him.
To cope with it all Peyton finds herself re-reading her old journal of letters to her first love, where her young and optimistic self had the whole world in front of her. That is before it all went wrong.
