MOHYELDIN: “You had about 48,000 unrestricted voters in Wisconsin. The president won that state by 20,000 votes. Is that a cause of concern to the re-election of President Joe Biden?”
Bowman: “Yes, because we’ve always had a problem engaging voters of color, young people and certain demographics. It’s going to be harder now because of how we have pretty much not responded very well to what’s happening in Gaza. So, yes, it is a cause for concern. That’s why it’s encouraging to see some of the organizing happening across the country. Hopefully, this continues to push the president in the right direction to call and get a permanent cease-fire, end the suffering, bring in the humanitarian aid and create a pathway to peace right away.”
