The 80's had no shortage of great comedies but the one that gets slightly overlooked is Fletch. Chevy Chase is on top form with his quick witty dialogue and classic one liners. This movie to me is not only one of the 80's best but might be Chevy's best comedy he's ever done.

Fletch is a 1985 American comedy thriller film. Irwin M. "Fletch" Fletcher, who is offered a large sum of money by a millionaire to kill him, claiming he has a terminal cancer prognosis and suicide would invalidate his life insurance policy. Fletch becomes suspicious when he discovers the man is not ill; when he continues to investigate, his life is threatened.
